It seems as of Jan 17, Sistersville will no longer have a police chief. It was reported in the Wetzel Chronicle Howell is becoming a patrolmen for New Mar. P.D. This leaves many ?s to be answered. Why didnt Tyler Star News report this? Who may be the next chief? Why would a chief of one town want to take a demotion to go to another town? I have respect for Howell and maybe its best he gets out of this corrupt town before his name/reputation gets destroyed by the actions of others.
