Sistersville Happenings
How many people know this?
Does anybody know why the City cinder truck went out Cow House road the other day and helped the mayor get unstuck?I didnt think Cow House was in the city limits. If thats the case are they paying water bills and street fees to provide for cinders and maintenance on the trucks?Just something for the citizens of Sistersville to think about!

$35,000 park and now we have to put a fence around it. Watch out the citizens of Sistersville are going to put up $45,000 matching funds for new downtown grant.

Wow, the tow truck would have cost at least $85. We should send an invoice to the mayor for the tow!

Why would anyone(other than the Sity of Sistersville) want to spend $20,000 on a piece of property that is less than an acre? And for what?

I got a better one. The mayor and City council passed a bill to purchase the triangle of land behind the new "PARK" for $20,000.00 of improvement money. Less than an acre.

My point exactly.Anyone else would either have to call a tow truck or stay stuck because it is outside the city limits. What gives the mayor the right to have them help him out?

That is something we should find out. I'm sure that anyone else would have to pay providing the cinder truck would bother for anyone but the mayor.

Did the mayor pay a fee to get, "unstuck"?
