Talk about getting involved! One doesn't need to go any further than Tyler Consolidated to find one of the busiest young ladies and one of the finest athletes in the valley. Soon-to-be senior JoLee Walton has big plans for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.

It seems like Walton was just starting her high school career as a freshman participating in volleyball, basketball and softball. However, she has continued to partake in those sports while also being involved in nearly everything else time would allow.

Academically, Walton has excelled; as a freshman, she received top honors in science and English. She was awarded the top 15 percent academic achievement award, faithful attendance award, and academic letter. During her freshman year, she earned her first volleyball, basketball and softball letters, was on the sectional and regional volleyball championship teams, and played in the state volleyball tournament. She was named Player of the Week on two occasions
