Ralph understands the role of the school board, to fulfill state and federal mandates and be responsive and accountable to the community it serves. He says, "As a member, I would listen to and investigate all information available on an issue before I form an opinion and cast my vote."

Ralph believes that teachers, staff, and service personnel all play an important role for students. He says, "Each group has a role to perform and separate areas of responsibility, but they are all as one in the educational welfare of the students."

Ralph's name will appear as number three (3) in the order on the primary ballot. Ralph commented, "I have no particular interest to promote. I would take the responsibility seriously and I would appreciate the opportunity to serve you on the Tyler County Board of Education."
