NUTTER FORT, W.Va. (AP) — Sales have been sweet at the West Virginia Blackberry Festival.
Festival treasurer Twyla Snodgrass tells The Exponent Telegram (http://bit.ly/1zKY8w3 ) that festivalgoers bought more than 400 blackberry pies and cobblers, along with 15 dozen blackberry-filled cookies, by Saturday afternoon. That topped sales at previous festivals.
