To the Editor:

On Wednesday, March 11, and Thursday, March 12, while the major part of the snow storm was on, all state road crews were busy with major roadways. The drilling company and the people working on Elk Fork Road dispatched a truck and employee to plow and keep Elk Fork Road open all night on Wednesday night and all day Thursday, and some on Thursday night. The state crew didn't get out this way until late Thursday night.

We the people on Elk Fork should be grateful for their help. They are not a bad bunch of peoplejust hard working men and women who just want to fit in while they are working in the area. We sometimes cut them a raw deal, not wanting them here and making things hard for them. Granted, they have their bad ones, just like every other employer does, that make all look bad. Most just want to make an honest living for their families like most everyone else.

So I think we should say thank you for their help and not give them a hard time while they are here.
