On Saturday the 'Cats traveled to Bridgeport to play a double header with the Bulldogs, but came out on the short end of the score in both games.

In game one, coach Brent Croasmun used three pitchers in the 9-6 contest: Hall took the loss on the mound, walking five and striking out two; Hayden Hizer took a turn and issued a walk; and Levi Meadows came on in the sixth.

At the plate, Hizer singled and hit a triple; Meadows hit two singles for an RBI and Andrew Dennis doubled.

Game two saw errors headline the story for the Wildcats with six as they fell to their hosts, 7-3.

Cooper went the distance on the mound, striking out one batter and giving up five walks.

Offensively, Hizer doubled; Meadows singled twice for one RBI; Wilcox singled for an RBI; and Deven Price hit three singles in the game.

The Wildcats were scheduled to play at Valley on Monday; at Wheeling Central on Wednesday; at Clay Battelle on Thursday; and will likely play in the OVAC semi-finals on Saturday against Bishop Donahue.
