Tyler Consolidated’s Lady Knights had a win and a loss in the week, falling to Williamstown on Feb. 7 and getting the win over Ritchie County on Feb. 8.

Hosting Ritchie County (4-12), at home on Saturday, the Lady Knights (10-7), waited until the second period to turn on the heat, leading the Lady Rebels at the half, 26-19. With a slowed down second half, the Silver and Black still got the “W” on their record with the 52-39 win.

Senior Sydney Reed led all Knight scorers in the game with 19. Sophie Kinnard scored nine points; Vanessa Templeton scored eight; Hillary Casteel, five; Katelyn Gogan, four; Sydney Yoho, two; Breanna Yeater, two; and Hannah Casteel added one point in the effort.

The Lady Knights are scheduled to travel to Ravenswood on Feb. 12 and if all goes as it should, will hopefully be playing in the LKC Championships on Feb. 15.

No statistics were available for any games the Paden City Lady Wildcats may have played. The Green and White are scheduled to host Clay-Battelle on Feb. 13 and travel to Wood County Christian on Feb. 17.
