Sistersville welcomes Subway

It is a big deal when a new business opens in a small town, especially when it is a chain restaurant. On Oct. 30 a new business opened in Sistersville.

After months of building and preparations, Subway held the grand opening of their new Sistersville location at South Chelsea St. at 10 a.m. on Oct. 30 with community leaders and patient customers present.

Sistersville Mayor Ann Doig; Eric Peters, the Executive Director of the Tyler County Development Authority; Sistersville Chief of Police, Ben Placer; and Sistersville Subway owner, Jack Hammond were on hand to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremonies.

The Subway is a welcome addition the businesses and other eateries in the Sistersville area.

The hours of operation will be 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily with the exception of Saturday, when the store will be open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday, from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.
