Tyler Star News

While the weather has done its best to play havoc with the baseball schedules in the Ohio Valley for the last month, Tyler Consolidated did manage to get a couple of games in at home last week.

The Silver Knight varsity baseball team played host to the Wirt County Tigers in their season opener in the cold on March 15.

Head coach Robby Jones and the Silver Knights gave it a good shot, but came up short on the scoreboard, 8-6 when the game was done.
