Benefit to be held for Doris Haught

A benefit is planned for Sept. 24 at the Friendly Community Building for Doris Haught, the daughter of Henry and Sue Snider of Middlebourne.

Doris is 44 years old and the mother of two children. She is also the grandmother of a beautiful little girl. He was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer and it has moved into both lungs.

A picnic dinner will be served from 3-7 p.m. The menu is hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, tea, coffee, kool-aid, and soft drinks. They are asking the community for donations for an auction, to be held at 7 p.m.

Any items would be appreciated.

Music will be provided by Jim and John Minger, Ben Tharp, Michael Parsons and Friends, and others.
