Letters from a grateful heart

By Staff | Jul 20, 2011

It’s great to live in a community where neighbors help each other; benefits are held for those in need of financial and emotional support; churches give clothing, food and assistance to those who have fallen on hard times; and teachers, bus drivers, coaches and other parents take a vested interest in each and every child.

We are a small county, but we are big in matters of the heart – and that’s something to be proud of!

Do you know someone who has gone out of their way to help our community? Would you like to recognize someone in Tyler County who has impacted your life and the lives of others in a positive way?

In the coming weeks The Tyler Star News would like to shine the spotlight on our friends and neighbors to show them how much we appreciate what they do for us, and we need your help! After all, nothing is more honorable than a grateful heart.

Write a “letter from a grateful heart” to show your appreciation for the people who make the communities in Tyler County special. Please limit your submissions to 400 words or less.

Letters may be emailed to editor@tylerstarnews.com or mailed to the Tyler Star News, P.O. Box 191, Sistersville, WV 26175. You may also drop them off at our office, located at 720 Wells Street, Sistersville.
