It was wonderful to see people coming from all parts of Tyler County to celebrate Independence Day in the Sistersville Park. A strong sense of community could be felt all over. It seemed that for a brief moment in time, it didn't matter what school you went to or what mascot held your admiration. Everyone connected and shared from afternoon into the evening.
Those who had their hand in planning the festivities are to be commended, as there truly was something for everyone that day.
