BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Louisiana should soon have a new community college system leader.
The governing board for the Louisiana Community and Technical College System is scheduled to choose a new system president at its meeting Wednesday.
The board is choosing among four finalists.
Two Louisiana community college chancellors are among the contenders: James Henderson, chancellor of Bossier Parish Community College, and Monty Sullivan, chancellor of Delgado Community College in New Orleans.
Also finalists are Deborah Blue, chancellor of the State Center Community College District in California, and Marie Gnage, president of West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
The board is searching for a successor to Joe May, who is leaving to become chancellor of the Dallas County Community College District.
