MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — It's reaccreditation time for West Virginia University.
For the first time in a decade, the Higher Learning Commission will consider the university's accreditation.
The Dominion Post (http://bit.ly/1h5obZl ) reports that WVU administrators have been working for the past couple years in preparation. Part of the preparation includes the development of a so-called self-study, which will be submitted this week.
Accreditation and Planning officer Elizabeth Hamilton says WVU has been gathering information and analyzing it to determine what to include in the self-study.
The self-study totals hundreds of pages, with the bulk of it compiled last year.
