BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) — Public employees, government lawyers, media and the general public can receive free training on the state's ethics act.
The West Virginia Ethics Commission says it will offer a one-hour training session in Beckley on Jan. 7. The session will be held at the Raleigh County Schools Central Office.
Topics include the prohibition against use of public office for private gain and employment by regulated persons or vendors.
Attorneys who wish to receive Continuing Legal Education credit must register for the session.
