Charleston woman pleads guilty in wrong-way fatal

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A Charleston woman has admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol and cocaine and causing a wrong-way crash on Interstate 77 that killed another driver.

The Charleston Daily Mail (http://bit.ly/17wNa3e) reports 45-year-old Angela Walker pleaded guilty Thursday in Kanawha County Circuit Court.

The March 28 crash in Charleston killed 48-year-old Edward Bryant of Big Chimney. Police said Walker was traveling in the wrong direction.

Walker faces up to 10 years in prison and will be sentenced in January.
