HENLAWSON, W.Va. (AP) — Police say human remains found near a wrecked all-terrain vehicle in Logan County are believed to be those of a man who's been missing since June.
The Logan County Sheriff's Department tells media outlets that a deputy responding to a tip about the ATV found the skeletal remains in the Henlawson area on Saturday.
The remains have been sent to the West Virginia Medical Examiner's Office.
The sheriff's department says it believes the remains are those of James David Marcum.
Marcum was last seen on June 14 leaving his home on an ATV.
