2 W.Va.-made movies part of Sutton festival

SUTTON, W.Va. (AP) — The lineup for the 14th annual West Virginia FILMmakers Festival features a pair of movies shot in the state.

The festival will be held in Sutton's Elk Theatre from Oct. 4 through 6.

Charlie Cline's "Squid Man" will be shown on Oct. 4. It was shot in Pittsburgh and in Sutton.

On Oct. 5, David Smith's "Ladybeard" will be shown. The film was shot in Charleston and Huntington.

The Filmmaker of the Year will be announced on Oct. 6 at Sutton's Landmark Center for the Arts.

The film lineup is part of the Sutton Fall Festival.
