Well stated Ed and fact based start to finish. I always enjoy your Press Box every week. The really nice boat docks at Paden City are now disassembled for the most part and sitting on land. They were damaged in the last high water mark from flooding. Hopefully they can be repaired and put back in service before long. The two campers at the camp ground, which one floated south 200 yards, actually now are property of insurance companies. They were both pretty much totaled when the Ohio River rose and ruined them both because of them not being moved in adequate time. Paden Citys park is in disrepair in many aspects and will probably take volunteers to whip it back into shape as it was a few years ago. Paden City Pool is now ran by Friends of Paden City Pool, a separate entity away from the city. It's a totally volunteer program that keeps the pool open. I was told just a few weeks ago that the pool should reopen this coming swimming season.
