This week, I got it in my head that our office needed to be cleaned and rearranged. With the help of Judy and Heather, the two-day task was completed to our satisfaction. It never ceases to amaze me how moving a desk to another wall, purging unwanted or useless items and wiping down a few baseboards can change the atmosphere. But I dare say the Tyler Star News has taken on a homier feel and I like it! In the midst of our summer cleaning frenzy, we ran across several old pictures. Well, several may be an understatement…let’s just say that we found a small gold mine of memories from the past – some a little older than others. In an effort to share our new-found treasure with the world, I decided to scan a few and post them on our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/#!/TylerStarNews). I plan to add a few more as time allows.
