Shannon Swaim and J.R. Hayes II exchanged wedding vows recently at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nev.,. The event took place at the Venus Garden venue during the afternoon of March 20. The affair was enjoyed by close family friends on a beautiful, spring day.

J.R. is the son of Jerry and Darlene Hayes of Friendly and brother to Jodie Spinella, of Ringwood, N.J. Shannon Swaim is the daughter of Gail Greek of Glendale, Ariz. and Steve Swaim of Chino Valley, Ariz, with one brother, Steven, of Surprise, Ariz., and a sister, Michelle, of Surprise, Ariz.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Independence High School in Glendale, Ariz., and currently attending the University of Phoenix. Shannon is employed with Bank of America in Phoenix, Ariz., as a systems analyst.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Sistersville High School and 1999 graduate of Marshall University. He is employed with the Business IT group for DHL Express in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Following an extended stay in Las Vegas, the couple resides in Goodyear, Ariz., with their children.
