Ken and Maysel Keifer of Paden City are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on April 26, 1958 in Parkersburg by Evangelist Floyd Caplinger. Maysel, a 1956 graduate of Parkersburg High School, is retired from Fenton Art Glass in Williamstown. Ken, who attended Paden City High School and served in the Air Force, has worked at Wayside Furniture in New Martinsville for 37 years. He has also been the minister at Buck Run Church of Christ for 16 years. Ken and Maysel have resided in Paden City most of their married life.
There will be an Open House Reception for the couple on Saturday, April 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Paden Fork Chapel Fellowship Hall, given by their children: Ken and Megan Keifer of Mooresville, Indiana; Kelly Horner Keifer of Proctor; Kelly and Curt Cappell of Jacksonville, Florida; and Shelly and John Turner of Loveland, Ohio. Their four grandchildren will also be in attendance: William Keifer, Nerissa Cappell, Jacob Turner, and Gavin Turner.
