Shreves couple has celebrated their 50th

Shirley and Bert (Junior) Shreves
Bert (Junior) and Shirley Shreves of Fly, Ohio celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 5.

Shreves is retired from Ormet Corp at Hannibal, Ohio and is the son of Bert Sr. and Emma Shreves of Sistersville. His wife worked for the American Greeting Card Company. She is the daughter of the late Cecil and Wanda Wagner of Weirton. She resided in Friendly with her aunt and uncle, the late Dan and Doris Wagner.

The Shreves are the parents of three children: Debbie and her husband Frank Curtiss in Hannibal, Ohio; Curtis Shreves of Fly, Ohio; and Candy and her husband Stacey Fisher of Friendly. They have seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The Shreves’ anniversary day was spent visiting with family and friends at their Windy Hill Farm.
