Edward Yost, age 79, of New Martinsville, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at home. He was born July 30, 1928, in Tyler Co., son of the late James Yost and Flora Neff Yost.

He was a former employee of Wissmach Glass Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Flodie Weekley; and brother, Jerry Yost.

Survivors include sons, James, Ernie, and Gail Yost, all of Middlebourne, and Robert Yost of New Martinsville; daughters, Mary Cline of Middlebourne, Wanda Bassett of New Martinsville, Sarah Yost of St. Marys, and Prescilla Hodnett of Multry, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Friends were received at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, where services were held Monday, April 14, 2008, with Minister Joe Rabel officiating. Interment at Simpson Chapel Cemetery, Middlebourne
