Joseph N. Northcraft, April 14, 1932 - April 8, 2008

Joseph N. Northcraft, age 75, of Paden City, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. He was born April 14, 1932, in Friendly, a son of the late Oscar Northcraft and Mamie D. Ankrom Northcraft.

He was a retiree of the Ormet Corp. and member of the Paden City Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his step-mother, Ethel Thorn Cowgill Northcraft; wife, Lalah E. Eller Northcraft; brother, Burl “Pinky” Northcraft; and sister, Barbara Bailey.

Survivors include sons, Kendall Northcraft and wife, Marta, of Irwin, Pa., and Randall Northcraft and wife, Christie, of Fishers, Ind.; daughter, Lisa Northcraft of Woodsfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Teresa and Patrick Northcraft; sister, Wilma Cunningham of Friendly; step-brothers, Adrian Cowgill of Friendly and Jerry Cowgill of Keystone City, Fla.; and step-sisters, Janet Deaton of Friendly and Martha Buck of Lawrenceville, Ga.

Friends were received at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, where services were held Saturday, April 12, 2008, with Rev. Adrian Cowgill officiating. Interment at Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City. Condolences may be extended to the family by visiting www.myersfuneralhomewv.com.
