30th annual Academic Awards Ceremony recipients

HALL OF FAME — Above, the 30th annual Tyler County and Paden City Schools Academic Awards Ceremony and Reception was held April 24 inducting the latest members to the Academic Hall of Fame. The 30th annual Tyler County and Paden City Schools Academic Awards Ceremony and Reception, sponsored by First Federal Savings Bank of Sistersville, was held April 22 and 24 at Tyler Consolidated.

Honored were students achieving a 4.0 as well as placement in the to 15 percent of their class April 22 and April 24 at Tyler Consolidated at the 30th annual Academic Awards Ceremony and Reception.

Those students from Tyler County and Paden City in grades fifth through 12 grades received certificates for their educational achievements while students who have earned the honor all eight consecutive years had the names placed on a plaque as members of the Academic Hall of Fame.

Those members added this year include Linda Bassett, Kimberly Kimble, Sarah McMullen, Leesha Miller, Craig Monroe, Jesse Moore, Cailin Prunty, Tonya Riffle, Emmalyn Rucker and Jennifer Wright.

Students from Tyler Consolidated honored are as follows:

Seniors: Linda Bassett, Timothy Bowen, Linda Buck, Logan Efaw, Tiffany Fouts, Kimberly Headley, Geoffrey Kasler, Kimberly Kimble, Alexander King, Richard Long, Ashley McCoy, Sarah McMullen, Leesha Miller, Craig Moore, Jesse Moore, Cailin Prunty, Tonya Riffle, Emmalyn Rucker, Ryan Summers, Hannah Thomas, Jennifer Wright and Cameron Yoho.

Juniors: Patrick Foley, Jeffrey Gaiser, Cullen Grover, Travis Hoyes, Brian Litten, Heather Lynch, Kara Martie, Jamie Parks, Jonathan Perkey, Tiffany Riffle, LeeAnn Smith, Alexa Talkington, Shawna Tracy, Troy Wable, Nathan Weese and Miranda Yost.
